Happy Sunday! Let’s kick things off with a fresh start to the week, shall we?
At Fresh Start Furniture Bank in Hudson, every day is an opportunity to help someone turn a house into a home that may not otherwise have the ability to do so. This week, with a little bit of help from the Marlborough Girl Scouts, the non-profit dedicated to restoring dignity to those unable to afford furniture and housewares during times of need saw a little extra boost in donations. If you know of someone who could use a fresh start of are in the fortunate position to donate, visit http://www.freshstartfurniturebank.org.
Just a ferry ride away (okay..and a bit of a drive) on Martha’s Vineyard, one local lawyer has made it his mission to help keep the island community safe. Noticing the immediate need on Martha’s Vineyard for quality, KN-95 masks in places where essential workers are still to this day putting themselves at a higher risk just to survive financially, Erik knew he had both the time and the resources to hopefully make a difference. Watch today’s episode below to see how he did it!
Want to help Erik be the bearer of some good news? Make a donation of masks-or cash-to the initiative’s GoFundMe at https://www.gofundme.com/f/marthas-vineyard-n95-mask-distribution.
