Hospitality Homes Hosts 2025 Golf Tournament

PLYMOUTH, MA – Imagine a world where no patient and their family had to worry about a place to stay while their loved one is undergoing medical treatment in Boston – that is the reality Hospitality Homes is creating. “They do such an incredible job of trying to match people who are in need with people who are hosting” Tyler Sweeney, recently appointed Board Member.

Providing 13,000 nights of housing in the last year alone, the impact of their work leaves a lasting impact for both host and patient families.

“You get to see people from all walks of life,” says Deborah Pepper, Executive Director. “I get a knock on my door and there was this – I’m calling him my ‘mountain man’ – he would tear up anytime he talked about his daughter, he was so worried about her and Boston Children’s did an amazing job of making sure she was well on her way to recovery.”

Celebrating this work at their 23rd annual golf tournament, guests enjoyed a catered lunch at Pinehills Golf Course, refreshments from Del’s Fresh Lemonade, Beat The Pro, chair massages a spread of auction items and fun stops along the course.

“We attract people that are so kind, have a heart for our mission, and love to play golf,” explains Pepper. “People that play once tend to come back.”

Funds raised from the event go back to their critical mission of providing access to world class healthcare along with short-term housing, stability and community for families regardless of the medical treatment and obstacles they face. “What we do is so important,” says Pepper. “We allow a family to be nearby so even when they have a difficult outcome, the fact that they’ve spent their last moment with their loved one surrounded with family is so important.”
